MY Story

My skills

Over that history, I've developed a very particular set of skills (insert Liam Neeson voice). I've worked as an Art Director, Production Director, Motion Graphic Designer, Videographer, Photographer, Online Host, and Scriptwriter. I've used all of these skills to help lead teams of creatives to communicate the ministry's mission, purpose and inspire. I developed a strong ability to dream big, inspire my teams, streamline and organize, implementing systems and develop strategies to reach our community.

So far In my time in ministry I've been able to successfully build teams in Communications, Production, and Creative departments. I've spearheaded major annual events, conferences, and initiatives. I've been given the incredible opportunity to lead at the executive level speaking into all aspects of the organization and the vision and mission of the church. I've had unique opportunities to develop marketing strategies for Church owned for-profit businesses such as Seven Springs Crossfit, Trinity Commons Coffee, Amazing Explorers Academy private schooling and Trinity Counseling Center.

My diverse experiences in each one of these different areas have enabled me to maximize the vision, consistency and cohesion throughout the creative needs of the ministry.

I'm blessed with a beautiful family! There is nothing I love more than spending time with them. My wife Kelly is a fantastic mom with an incredible singing talent and a wonderful photographer. We've been married for over 13 years and in that time we've had 5 children. Our twins, Eden and Isabel are 9, Juliet is 5, Theo is 3, and Savannah 1.

We love devoting time to our children and being a Godly example for them. There is nothing more important or rewarding to us than the time we spend with them and the lessons not only we teach them but also what we've learned through being parents. My wife and I make a point to show our children not only to work in ministry but to serve. We love spending time volunteering in our churches nursery hosting a small group, or singing on the worship team.

My History

I started out graphic designing at the early age of 13. I was blessed to have a tremendous opportunity at my church to intern in the creative department which struck a strong desire for creativity in ministry. What continued into high school where I was able to earning multiple scholarships. I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my career but also knew where I wanted to do it. Growing up, my family has always been heavily involved in ministry my whole life. My mother was a Children's Pastor and Father a Mens Ministries Director and Small Business Owner. Many of my earliest memories were rooted in ministry. I saw how rewarding it can be to see your work affect the lives of people and help them gain a deeper relationship with Christ. God has given me a special gift to help inspire teams to spread the gospel and I know that is his purpose for my life.

There had always been a second desire in my life to serve my country. In 2010 I decided to join the United States Army National Guard. I served as a diesel mechanic for 6 years and was deployed to Kandahar, Afganistan in 2012-2013. I consider it an honor and privilege to have served and appreciate the lessons in character and leadership I gained. Needless to say, I'm as comfortable turning wrenches as I am in photoshop.

Throughout my career, I've been able to work with a variety of ministry's from church planting to 10,000+ members, and a broadcast ministry reaching millions of people. Along the way, I've been able to work with, lead and be mentored by some of the most talented people in the nation. I've developed a unique knowledge specifically geared towards churches and ministries.

My Family

“Throughout our work together, I continued to be impressed with Ben’s level of demonstrated leadership, initiative, knowledge and abilities to finish projects. After working with Mr. King, I have full confidence that he has the skills, knowledge and experience to serve as a leader that can shape and transform your organization."

"Ben has an incredible work ethic and a strong desire to complete projects with excellence. What I love about Ben is that he does not jump hastily into working on his projects or leading his teams. He is thoughtful, insightful and attacks each project with a great amount of care and insight. You will not get a completed project from Ben that is sloppy or not well thought out. He will look at the solutions from every angle and present a multitude of ideas. This is where his work ethic shines through. He will do what needs to be done to get the project just right."

“I have known Ben King for over 5 years. When I met Ben it was evident how strong his leadership skills were. His ability to build teams and execute in excellence was seen in a tangible way. His relational approach to develop a sense of team work is what attracted other leaders to work with him. He is a developer of other leaders which allowed the organization to move forward and not be built on one personality. I would recommend Ben to any organization looking to go to the next level!"

Art Director / Former Team Member

Ben King served as my direct report and as soon as he came, Ben stepped in and put plans into place for organization throughout our ministry. Ben has grown me in my role tremendously and I have the utmost respect for him and his wife. Ben’s leadership capabilities and creativeness are hard to find. He leads with integrity and a “serve-first” mentality. I am grateful for everything he taught me and the time I was able to serve under him.
